​How long have you been a deacon, and when will you be ordained a priest?

I have been a deacon since August 2023.
I hope to be ordained a priest on May 25th, 2024.

What are your responsibilities in regards to Holy Family School?

Visiting with students, making classroom visits, preaching the Gospel at School Mass. I will also help with the preparation of First Holy Communion.

​

What do you enjoy most about connecting with Holy Family School?
I enjoy the wonderful students! They are kind, welcoming, energetic, and a joy to be around!

​

What are your hobbies?
I enjoy cooking, hiking, taking a good walk in the woods, sledding in the winter, putting together puzzles, reading, and dogs!

​

Can you tell us about your family?
My parents, Tom and Shannon, live in Rosemount, MN. My older sister Patty and her husband live outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with their four children. My younger sister Megan lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Will.

Any other interesting facts you would like people to know about your experience as a deacon in our community?

I am looking forward to learning how to milk a cow! I like to say hello to people and visit with others!
